Thank you for choosing VPlayer ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our iOS application collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use VPlayer.

1. Overview & Data Ownership
VPlayer is a local media player and file management application. Your media files belong to you. All videos, audio files, and subtitles that you play or import into VPlayer remain strictly on your device. We do not upload, store, or view your personal videos on any remote servers.


2. Information We Access and How It Is Used

A. Local Storage and Files
Files Access & Document Directory: VPlayer allows you to play and manage video files stored locally on your device or imported via the iOS Files app and iTunes/Finder file sharing.
All imported video files and subtitles are stored inside your device’s local sandbox. We do not transmit or sync your files to any external cloud storage.

B. Photo Library Access
Permission: NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription
Purpose: If you choose to import videos from your device's Camera Roll / Photos app, VPlayer requests access to your Photo Library solely to allow you to select and load your videos into the player.
We only access the items you explicitly select, and your photos or videos are never shared with third parties.

C. In-App Browser & Network Features
VPlayer includes built-in browsing capabilities to preview web media. We do not track, log, or sell your browsing history, bookmarks, or web activity.

3. Third-Party Analytics and Diagnostics
To help us improve the reliability, stability, and user experience of VPlayer, we use trusted third-party analytics and crash-reporting services provided by Google:

Firebase Analytics (Google LLC): Collects anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (such as app launches, session duration, device model, and OS version) to help us understand how the app is used.
Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC): Collects anonymized crash reports, stack traces, and device state at the time of an unexpected crash so we can fix bugs and improve performance.

4. Advertising
VPlayer does not sell or share your personal data with third-party advertisers or data brokers.

5. Data Retention and Deletion
Since your media files are stored locally on your device:

You can delete any video or subtitle file directly within the app at any time.
Uninstalling VPlayer will permanently delete all locally stored media and settings associated with the app.

6. Children’s Privacy
VPlayer does not knowingly collect or solicit any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
